Full Description
{1} Barn/stables visited in response to an application to convert to dwellings. Brick built with Pantile single height roof and slates to double height roof indicating perhaps two phases of development. Possible construction date late C19th, possibly C20th. 'T' shape plan. Notable features include the double height stable but with no inserted first floor. May originally have been a barn. Also existence of pigsty at NW end - blockwork hints of a partial demolition - may once have been two sites. Furniture of stables; troughs, feeding trays, gutters and posts still remained at time of visit.
