Full Description
{1}The number of aircraft needing repair increased rapidly during the 1940 and the accommodation at the main centre at Sywell was found to be inadequate. This together with the policy of dispersal and the benfit of taking work to the people instead of the reverse with consequent saving in travelling, led to preises being requisitioned including premises in Victoria Road (operated by Blanchflowers) which specialised in tail units, flaps and cowlings.
