Full Description
{2}These photos show the main Griggs factory which is going to be demolished.
{4} The factory consists of five bays of north-lit sheds, of varying length. The south elevation (fronting onto Eastfield Road) is rendered and the fenestration modern in character. It is therefore impossible to be certain of its original form except to say that it is constructed of red brick, which is visible at its east end and where it is toothed for an extension.
The south north-lit shed, which faces onto Backway, has been extended to infill the space between it and the rear shed of 37 Eastfield Road.
