Monument record 3250/18/6 - 46 - 64 Irchester Road

This site comprises a series of boot and shoe workshops to the rear of a row of terraced houses. They are single storey and are grouped in blocks of five, each with an entrance, window and stack, originally each had a privy and coal house.

{3} A series of single-storey lean-to workshops located to the rear of 46-64 Irchester Road. They are grouped in two blocks of five on an east-west alignment. Each block had a privy and a coal house at either end; the scars where these have been demolished are clearly visible.

An individual workshop comprises a single unit entered by a door in the north elevation and lit by a three-light casement, with blue brick sills, adjacent to the entrance. They were heated by stacks in the south wall.
