Full Description
{1} Fieldwalking in 1969 recovered Romano-British pottery at TL02558195, including 1 sherd of "grittedware".
{2} Roman settlement (TL 02558195). The remains, not entirely clear on available air photographs, appear to consist of two conjoined enclosures and accompanying ditches. Roman pottery has been found within the area of the enclosures
{3} Area TL 02558195 Crop marks.
{4} Cropmarks of two enclosures.
{5} No extant remains. One fragment of RB. gritted ware found within the area of the enclosures.
{6} This site is linked to TL 08 SW 26 [HER no 2244] by a ditched trackway.
