Summary

Cropmarks of a small D-shaped enclosure covering just under 1ha, with a ditch extending north-eastwards from its northern corner. A scatter of stone, bone and late Iron Age pottery has been found on the site.

Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking in 1975 identified a stone area with 6 Iron Age body sherds and a fragment of bone.

{2}Cropmarks at SP90728050 show a small D-shaped enclosure covering just under 1ha, with a ditch extending north-eastwards from its northern corner. A scatter of stone, bone and late Iron Age pottery has been found on the site.

{3} SP90728050. Air photographs show cropmarks of a D-shaped enclosure with a ditch curving away to the north-east from its northern corner. To the south is a curved length of ditch with one portion roughly parallel to the south side of the main enclosure. Stone scatter with associated bone and late Iron Age pottery found.
