Full Description

{1} A number of ditches were observed by Dennis Jackson during the 'By-Pass' road works as well as a few Iron Age body sherds; no plans were made, nor were the ditches excavated and the sherds were discarded.

{2} Several shallow ditches of Iron Age date.

{3} Re-alignment of the A43 at Stanion revealed several shallow ditches of Iron Age date, suggesting settlement nearby. (No evidence of Margary Route 57A was found.) Quoted ngr: SP910866.
