Full Description

{1} The common fields of Chipping Warden were enclosed by an Act of Parliament of 1733, but no details of the fields are known. Ridge and furrow exists on the ground or can be traced on air photos over much of the land attributable to Chipping Warden village, arranged in end-on or interlocked furlongs.

{3} Ridge and furrow earthworks are visible in fields at the north end of the pipeline.
