Please read our .

Summary

An extensive area of cropmarks has been identified on aerial photography. The cropmarks are concentrated to the north of Brampton Road and are dominated by a 'triple-ditch' system, a typically dated to the prehistoric period. Aligned approximately east to west but with a defined alteration in course, it extends nearly 700m. The ditches may be of a similar date to several pit alignments. To the west are a series of small, discrete square enclosures and a possible Bronze Age round barrow. On the eastern side of the Harborough Road is a series of linked enclosures and a possible trackway.
