Cropmarks of probable rectilinear enclosures were identified on aerial photographs as part of the Northamptonshire NMP Project and again as part of the bedford Borough NMP Project

Full Description
{2} A possible Iron Age and/or Roman settlement enclosure is visible as cropmark on aerial photographs and was mapped as part of the Bedford Borough NMP project. It is located southeast of Stanwick Pastures and comprises a sub rectangular enclosure which is divided in two by an internal ditch.
