Site of a sewage works built in 1895. All the machinery was still in place when the building was surveyed in 1964. Now demolished and replaced by a new pumping station.

Full Description

{1} Site of a sewage works built in 1895. It was a single-storeyed brick building which housed the plant. It was demolished circa 1966 when a new pumping statio replaced it.

{2} Single storey brick building housing plant consisting of engines, boilers, a workshop and coal store. Dated c.1895. All machinery was still in place in 1964. Plans to demolish the building when the new pumping station is completed.
