Full Description

{1} Two linear features identified by geophysics and confirmed by excavation (Trenches 16 and 20). One was 0.50m wide and 0.23m deep and the other measured 0.84m wide and 0.30m deep. Both contained a grey-white clayey silt and appeared to have been ploughed out to the north (in Trench 16).

An irregular linear feature with a shallow profile and irregular sides was revealed during excavation. The fill was a mid grey-brown silt and contained numerous small stones which appeared to have collapsed in from the side. This cut a shallow pit-like feature with a diameter of 2.00m to the north.
