Cropmarks of possible prehistoric pit alignments identified by aerial photographs. The NMP project identified further cropmarks to the north-east of those identified in the 1970s. Full Description

{1} Cropmark of possible pit alignment, only faintly visible, and may only be a ditch. 100m in length running from TL02157900 to TL02107893.

{2} Ditch or Pit alignment (TL 02157900-02107893) S of the village on Cornbrash and Oxford clay at 170 ft above OD. It is orientated NE-SW and traceable for about 100 m but is barely visible on air photographs.
