Full Description

{1} Fieldname: Windmill Field. A post mill is recorded in 1600.

{2} Windmill mound (SP 777398) lies NW of the village on Boulder Clay at 71 m above OD. A low mound 20 m. across and ploughed almost flat is the site of a post mill shown on a map of 1600.
