Full Description

{1} Documentary references to a medieval deer park. In 1298 Henry Earl of Lincoln was granted permission to enclose 30 acres of land belonging to the manor of Wadenhoe in order to make a park. Its location is unrecorded, but most probably at this location. The area was known as The Warren in 1793.
