Title | Desk Top Survey And Archaeological Evaluation At Firs Farm, Braybrooke, Northamptonshire. November 1 |
Author/Originator | Prentice J. |
Date/Year | 1999 |
Northamptonshire SMR Book Number | 5774 |
Abstract/Summary
A desk top survey and trial excavation suggested that the area of potential development was outside the area thought to be West hall known from an historic document. A small group of featrues comprising a ditch, two gullies, and two postholes were found. The ditch and one of the gullies produced single sherds of medieval pottery perhaps suggesting limited activity during that period.
