Abstract/Summary
A combination of fieldwalking, metal detector survey, trail trenching and excavation has revealed evidence of part of a Romano-British Settlement in the form of ditches, pits and gullies situated within the southwest corner of Potterbury parish. The investigation also revealed possible Iron Age or Romano-British activity close to the village of Potterspury adjacent to the Watling Street.
