Abstract/Summary
An inspection of this duck decoy (Titchmarch parish approx centre TL0085/8040) was conducted with Wildlife Trust Reserves Manager, Terry Smithson, on 10th January 2002. The archaeological objective was to inspect the monument, assess its condition and advise on management. This followed-up advice provided to DEFRA RDS in 2001 in respect of a Countryside Stewardship Sheme renewal application for the Titchmarsh LNR, of which the decoy forms a part.
