Abstract/Summary

An archaeological watching brief was carried out during the excavation of two test holes and a trench for the addition of a drain at All Saints Church, Middleton Cheney, Northamptonshire. The two test pits exposed an existing drain, which ran up against and parallel with the north wall. The trench exposed the ironstone rubble and block footings of the west side of the tower wall. No other archaeological features were observed during the groundworks.
