Abstract/Summary

A corridor of land 3.65km long was investigated by geophysical survey and fieldwalking. Three possible sites were discovered during the survey, they comprise an extensive Romano-British farmstead lying partly on the bypass route and slight scatters of Iron Age and Saxon pottery.
