Abstract/Summary

Planning and listed building consent has been granted for the conversion of the outbuildings of the Manor House, Manor Road, Mears Ashby. A building recording and analysis had been requested prior to any works being completed. The outbuildings situated to the north and west of the manor house were built in the latter part of the eighteenth century. At the time of the survey it was found that little documentary evidence was available or survived, much of the physical evidence was dependant on the main fabric of the building.
