Abstract/Summary

A gradiometer survey across a proposed development area on land between Ashton Road and Herne Road. The survey covered all or part of five fields, totalling 2.7ha, identifying three potential archaeological anomalies. Gradiometer survey also mapped the medieval ridge and furrow cultivation, and modern pipes.
