An archaeological watching brief was carried out during works to renew paving. The work comprised the removal of existing paving followed by limited excavation to allow for the bedding of the new paving. Several articulated burials were recorded around the war memorial on the north side of the church, whilst modern sub-base material was recorded throughout the remainder of the investigation area. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were present.
