Abstract/Summary

In January 2010, an archaeological trial trench evaluation was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology on land proposed for Naseby Battlefield Visitor Centre, Northamptonshire. A relict stream bed was observed in two trenches. Earthwork remains of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation were present. A single sherd of Roman pottery was recovered from the subsoil. A post-medieval coin was recovered from the topsoil.
