Abstract/Summary
Northamptonshire Archaeology conducted a desk-based assessment on land adjacent to 103 Little Harrowden House, Main Street, Little Harrowden, Northamptonshire in advance of porposed development. There are no Listed Buildings or scheduled Ancient Monuments within the site, nor is it located within a Registered Park or Garden or Battlefield site. A search of the Historic Environment Record revealed that there were no known archaeological sites on the land or within the immediate vicinity. Historic map regression showed that the site has remained undeveloped since at least the beginnings of the 19th century. It is likely that since it is located o the rear of the houses on Main Street, it has been used as a 'back plot' area or been cultivated. It appears that the existence of any significant archaeological remains on the site is unlikely.
