Abstract/Summary

In March 2011 an archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology on land proposed for a Rural Agricultural Centre, Thrapston, Northamptonshire. The evaluation confirmed the presence of an Iron Age enclosure identified during an earlier geophysical survey and also investigated an undated gully. A modest assemblage of mid Iron Age pottery and animal bone was recovered from the enclosure.
