SNN108257 - Land Adjacent to Gayton Manor, Milton Road, Gayton, Northamptonshire: Programme of Archaeological Observation, Investigation, Recording, Analysis and Publication of Works

A programme of archaeological observation, investigation, recording, analysis and publication was undertaken of a building plot adjacent to Gayton Manor, Milton Road, Gayton, Northamptonshire, NN7 3HE on the 21st June 2012. The works comprised the written description and photographic recording of foundation footings, making use of survey drawings independently commissioned by the client. The works were undertaken as defined by a written scheme of investigation produced by Midland Archaeological Services and approved by the Assistant Archaeological Advisor to Northamptonshire County Council. The programme of work concluded that no archaeological features or artefacts were present within the foundation footings.
