Abstract/Summary

A level 2 historic building survey was carried out in advance of the conversion of a former stable at Falls Farm, Harrington for use as a gin distillery. Falls Farm is a mixed-use farmstead which appears on the preliminary series OS map of 1835 and may date to the 18th century. The stable first appears on the first edition OS map of 1886 and may have been constructed around 1850, as part of a longer range of agricultural buildings.
