Abstract/Summary

The site is near the lost village of Descote, near Dalscote to the east of Pattishall. It was surveyed with the CLASP Bartington Gradiometer 601-2 by Fred Kay. An area of 90m by 90m was surveyed in nine 30m by 30m square grids. CLASP was given permission to do field walking near Pattishall and to do a geophysics survey in an adjacent field where crop marks had been seen on photographs. The geophysics survey was done on 18th and 19th October 2011 by Fred Kay, with the aid of assistants. This is an initial draft report.
