Abstract/Summary

This report has been commissioned by Craig Hamilton Architects Ltd to support a planning application is respect of the proposed new Blatherwycke Hall, Northamptonshire. This report has been prepared exclusively for Craig Hamilton Architects Ltd and their professional consultees in relation to the currently proposed redevelopment of the site; it may not be relied upon or reproduced by any third party without the written agreement of Jubb Consulting Engineers Ltd. The objective of this Flood Risk Assessment Report is to present a viable flood defence and surface water management strategy. This has been prepared on the basis of information provided by the client’s surveyors and architects, together with mapping and data provided by the Environment Agency and national hydrological research bodies. The report addresses the potential impacts of developing the existing site, including an assessment of flood risk as required by the Environment Agency as consultees to the Local Planning Authority.
