Abstract/Summary

During March 2013 an archaeological evaluation was carried out at Long Furlong Farm, Hellidon, in order to inform proposals for the construction of a wind turbine. A single trench was excavated and a human cremation burial was present at the south east end. The cremation was of an adult human and was radiocarbon dated to 1900 +/- 30 BP. No other archaeological features or artefacts were present.
