Abstract/Summary

Northamptonshire Archaeology was commissioned by Bellway Homes to carry out an archaeological trial trench evaluation on land at Peace Hill, Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire prior to development of the site. Seven trenches were excavated. Two linear ditches were found, each containing pottery dating to the middle and late Iron Age. Earthworks of the medieval ridge and furrow cultivation system survive in part of the area and the remnant furrows were seen in all trenches.
