Full Description

{3} The ridge and furrow of the medieval field system, which survives as an earthwork, shows up as a dominant feature in the data. The ridge and furrow seen in the survey results mirror the extant earthworks.

{6} Ridge and furrow was noted in all trenches except trench 1.
In trench 4, the southern end ridge had a shallow plantation gully following its creat, 0.08m deep and 0.30m wide.
