Abstract/Summary

In September 2013 archaeological mitigation works were carried out on land at Earls Barton Road, Great Doddington. The excavation identifed a number of modern features, including quarrying and a linear gully. The gully and an adjacent spread of material probably related to an enclosure, and associated pond/ structure, present on maps from the 1880s to the 1950s.
