Abstract/Summary

In February 2013, an archaeological trial trench evaluation was carried out by Northamptonshire Archaeology, on behalf of CgMs Consulting, on land at Brackmills Point former Cattlemarket site, Liliput Road, Northampton. The works identified a single undated pit that may have been a midden for the disposal of hearth waste. The site was traversed by the remnant furrows of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation.
