Abstract/Summary

A programme of archaeological observation, investigation, and recording was undertaken by Northamptonshire Archaeology (now part of MOLA), during groundworks for the construction of a new dwelling on land at 115 High Street, Brackley, Northamptonshire. A clay tobacco-pipe waster pit dating from the 18th century was recorded towards the rear of the site whilst a disturbed stratigraphy was recorded thoughout the remainder of the investigation area.
