Abstract/Summary

MOLA Northampton undertook a programme of archaeological observation at Rushton Hall, Rushton, Northamptonshire, in advance of proposed development on the site. A length of curving ditch and three pits, dating from the 12th-13th centuries, were found, along with a planting bed and stone-lined drain from a former garden arrangement, an undated drainage gully, and brick sills from temporary Second World War buildings.
