Abstract/Summary
In January 2017 Archaeological Solutions carried out an archaeological evaluation on land at 13 Sanders Lane, Potterspury, Northamptonshire. The evaluation comprised the excavation of two test pits located to the south-east of the current property. The site lies in an area where archaeological remains of medieval and post-medieval settlement and pottery production are present. A late post-medieval pit was revealed, possibly a clay pit and associated with the known kilns. Residual medieval, late medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds were also recovered from the topsoil.
