Abstract/Summary

An archaeological strip, map and sample excavation was carried out on land at Oundle Road, Weldon by ULAS from 20th February to 2nd March. The work was carried out on behalf of Mulberry Homes in advance of development. Part of a small Roman farmstead enclosure was uncovered consisting of ditches and gullies dating to the 2nd centruy AD. The site archive will intially be held by ULAS under the accession number ENN108572.
