Abstract/Summary

A detailed magnetometer survey was conducted over approximately 13.5ha of arable land. An area of prehistoric settlement activity has been detected, comprising ring ditches, enclosures, areas of enhanced response and backfilled pits. Evidence of ridge and furrow is visible in the west, along with a former field boundary. Disturbance from the former railway has been detected in the north, as well as an underground pipe or cable.
