Abstract/Summary

MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) was commissioned by Western Power Distribution to carry out an archaeological observation during works on land at Cottesbrooke Hall, Cottesbrooke. Four pits measuring approximately 2.0m by 1.2m were excavated to facilitate the passing through of an underground service by means of drilling. The stratigraphy within the pits was observed, but no archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered.
