MOLA carried a programme of geophysical survey and trial trench evaluation on land at Overstone Farm, Sywell Road, Overstone, Northamptonshire. The survey identified three ring ditches at the centre and to the east, and a number of linear features to the south. Sixteen trenches were excavated to target these features and to investigate and appropriate sample of the remaining area. The presence of the ring ditches was confirmed and a single pot sherd, prehistoric in date, and animal bone being recovered. The other features identified were undated.
