Abstract/Summary

In December 2019, MOLA excavated two trenches at the back of the plot at Rectory View, Hargrave, Northamptonshire. Undated, linear archaeological features were found, as well as a single posthole. Features in Trench 1 were closely grouped to each other and they indicated a field entry. In the centre of the trench, a large, undated boundary ditch was identified, which was re-cut at least twice. Trench 2 contained linear ditches to its southern end, which were arranged at a 90° angle which may represent the corner of a structure. The two southernmost ditches remained unexcavated.
