Abstract/Summary

A programme of archaeological evaluation in the form of trial trenching was undertaken in advance construction of two radomes, antennas and associated security system components at RAF Croughton, Croughton, Northamptonshire. A total of ten trenches (Trenches 1-10) were excavated. The proposed locations outlined in the WSI were shortened in some instances due to the presence of buried services. No archaeological features, finds or remains were encountered. A gravel layer in Trench 2 was identified as a change in the natural.
