Abstract/Summary

During July to September 2015, Network Archaeology undertook an archaeological Observation, Investigation and Recording investigation in addition to a Level 2 Historic Building Survey on a development that comprised the conversion of an existing agricultural barn into a two-storey residential dwelling. One archaeological feature was recorded during the investigation; a wide ditch that contained a domestic assemblage dating to the Medieval period, primarily 12th century. The survey revealed architectural features of the threshing barn that suggest a date of 19th century with 20th century additions and slight alterations. A copy of this report will be uploaded to the OASIS database.
