Abstract/Summary

Excavations were carried out at Kings Meadow Lane, Higham Ferrers between August 2002 and March 2003 by Oxford Archaeology. 5.3kg of metalworking debris from this site were examined. The only process identified was iron smithing. The range and quantity of iron working debris suggested that metalworking was of minor significance.
