Description

{1} Excavations on part of an important and well-preserved Roman roadside settlement at Kings Meadow Lane, Higham Ferrers (in advance of development by the Duchy of Lancaster), data from which forms the core of the attached post-excavation assessment document. N.B. Source contains poor mapping, with no locational controls for the excavation area, so rough location digitised from Fig.1 only.
