Abstract/Summary

This collections comprises images, site records, and CAD data from two investigations carried out at 46-48 High Street, Harpole, South Northamptonshire. An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Archaeological Research Services Ltd in February 2022. The results of this led to a strip, map and sample excavation of two areas targeting the plots of buildings on site. Evidence of several phases of Roman period ditches were found on site as well as a possible medieval or later boundary along the northern side of the site, and post-medieval and later structural and cut features relating to the extension and garden of The Bull Inn.
