Abstract/Summary

MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) was commissioned to conduct a geophysical survey on land to the west of Warkton Lane, Kettering. The survey detected numerous archaeological features of probable prehistoric date, including a rounded enclosure or possible barrow as well as a possible three0sided enclosure and other ditches, Features linked to the Boughton House avenue which runs through the survey area were also detected. A collection of small enclosures with internal features were detected in the south of the pipeline route by a previous survey in 2010.
