Author/Originator
Date/Year 2024

Abstract/Summary

Historic England has received an application to consider an Iron Age and Romano-British site at Titchmarsh Lodge (East), approximately 1.3km south-east of Titchmarsh for scheduling, prompted by a planning application for a solar farm on the site. After examining all the records and other relevant information and having carefully considered the national importance of the site, it is considered that the criteria for scheduling are not fulfilled. This is a settlement of local and regional interest only and its interest should be managed locally.
